After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

sachs is an OEM strut. OEM company's say stock struts are good for maximum of 1.5" lowering... Now that being said, they still wont last as long as stock ride height, they just wont blow in a month like they would if you lowered the car 2"+.
I'd personally go with Koni's... they'll pay for themselves in the long run

I went through Paragon and got Koni yellows with the adjustable ride height kit. If you aren't familiar with the ARHK it is a simple procedure to turn your stock sealed struts into coil over shocks using the Koni insert.

The Early struts are a cakewalk....build your own...it's not that difficult. I used Black Magic 300lb springs with tophats and lower adjusters.
The late car struts can be modded with the Koni inserts if you don't have fab skills....
Or if you can fab some....

Can you explain how you did that? And, where you got the parts?

It's over on the $hitlist..... I used Corolla coilover height adjusters/perches (Ebay)and made my own tophats to fit 2.5" 300lb coils from Southwest Speed....
http://www.southwestspeed.com/?sec=view_menu&cat=Suspension&sub=Springs&ssub=Coilover Springs&sssub=2 9/16" Diameter x 10" Tall Springs
The Tophats can be bought for about $60 from various places...The Early struts bottom spring plate doesn't even have to be cut down if you are lazy....
I used KYB II gas adjust struts and double spring set-up on the first set and sold them.....
Then I made another set with the Black Magic 300lb springs for my Iron Block 5.3....
I have a spare set of complete Early 944 struts in case I get bored this winter

i like the DIY parts you can do for your car, also a very nice idea to use the corolla coilcovers. Yeah Koni's are the bang for the buck and also KYB, anyone have tried a monroe parts for this specific area?
