HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Need confirmation on A/C condenser plumbing
I purchased the TPC A/C kit with compressor, condenser and brackets and I am now plumbing the system. I labeled the inlet at the middle fitting and outlet of the condenser at the bottom fitting when I installed it. Now that I am ready to make the hoses to connect everything, I think I labeled the inlet and outlet incorrectly. The TPC condenser has a #8 fitting on the bottom and I believe that should be the inlet from the compressor and the fitting in the middle of the condenser pointing down is a #6 fitting. The #6 fitting should be the outlet of the condenser to the dryer. This is the opposite of the original system I think. Am I correct that the inlet is the #8 fitting and the outlet is the #6 fitting?

Check out this link... I think it will help. I've diagramed my original system and the new system. Hose sizes are provided.

RE; A/C plumbing
Raymond, the picture on the diagram shows the outlet on the bottom of the image of the condenser. The description shows #8 to #8 and #6 to #6. I should have looked at the picture more closely. Thanks again, Gil
