For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

Yes thank you for your pricing. I have an excel spreadsheet as well and if someone would have told me I would be into this for 40+ I think I would have gone a different route. However I do love the car.

Re: My 87 944 Hybrid, LS1
So I bought my 951 with the thought that I wanted a cheap track car. Instead the motor blew immediately. Well, I think I bought it like that and the seller was a POS and the shop that did the PPI was worthless. Anyways, I embarked on the LS swap and it was NOT cheap.
I never added up everything I had into the car but lets just say I could've bought the 996 GT3 I almost bought instead of the 951 and probably spent *less*! Then had the bonus of owning a GT3, which would've doubled in value.
Oh well, lesson learned, which is I'll never, ever do another non native engine swap again. Actually I'll probably never do an engine swap again period.
