HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Aux relay/fuse block got kicked, now car won't start
Ok, so my PSI harness has an aux relay/fuse block that's mounted in my passenger foot well. Relays are for the fuel pump and the PCM and there's maybe 6 fuses.
I picked up a friend and stupidly forgot to tell him to be careful with his feet. While he was squirming around trying to fasten his seat belt he kicked that aux relay/fuse block and the car instantly died.
Towed it home with his land cruiser and I started to look into it. Fuel pump isn't running, all fuses on that aux block are fine, relays are seated properly. I've pulled the block forward and all the wiring going into it looks fine, I don't see a wire/plug dislodged.
Car cranks, but won't start since the fuel pump isn't running. All fuses/relays in the main fuse box are fine. Power to everything else works, seems isolated to the fuel pump.
WTF? My suspicion is no power to the fuel relay on the aux block, but what specifically should I be looking at on that aux power block?

My painless harness has a gray wire that is used to bypass the relay.

Bad fuel pump relay, or the wires inside the relay are broken. I had the latter happen and it created all kinds of frustration. I ordered a new block and rebuilt it.

The ignition feed/power wire to the block got dislodged. Moving that block inside my glove box so passengers feet can't hit it anymore.
