For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

WTB: LSX (V8) Swapped 1986 944 Porsche
I currently own a 1986 Turbo 944. It runs but needs a little love. I'm not sure if I'm ready to jump into doing the swap yet as I don't have time to wrench as much as I used to.
So I'd like to buy one that's done. If you're interested in a trade let me know.
I have a few cars including a 1970 Datsun 240z with a Rebello 2.7 in it.
So I guess 1985.5-1990 manual ls1 swapped. Clean title too.
Thanks in advance.

Re: WTB: LSX (V8) Swapped 1986 944 Porsche
I have one that I would be willing to let go of,
It has a Gm crate motor and everything else on the car is new or rebuilt. I have put about 500 miles on it since the conversion was completed, The car is red with a near perfect black interior. Out side and inside are a 9 or a 10 in my professional opinion.

Also has real Euro bumpers front and rear, a turbo rear valance and bucket head lights from D9 in the other country!

got it, I'll send you some good photos tomorrow. I did not drive the car today, but I will tomorrow.
Nice!
What's the year of the car? What else has been done to the vehicle, brakes, suspension? What's the asking price?
Thanks!
Thanks!
