For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Truck coil covers
After fitting a Mustang Hydroboost I have to use later style coils (truck type) that mount higher on the rocker boxes. There are a zillion after market covers for the LS series, which vehicles and what LS numbers were stock with the higher coils? Is there a stock GM plastic coil cover that fits this combination?

Re: Truck coil covers
Hi Mike,
The truck coils bolt right on your LS, I have them with the stock 04 covers. The mounting bosses for car and truck are on the valve cover. Someday I will grind off the passenger bosses I no longer need.
Take a look at this pic;

You can see the lower bosses I no longer use. The truck coils helped me with clearance for the brake system, I did not have to move the last coil to the firewall or shock tower. This was important to me to make it look like the LS came with the car.
I will post pics soon with the BMW hydroboost and how it fits with the truck coils, before I got the truck coils, I scrapped the BMW system, since clearance was awful. Now, if fits nicely!

Re: Truck coil covers
Mike I totally missed your question, it was about covers, doh! I am going to try the Holley big block Chevy look covers, to see if they will fit. Here's a link:

I promise to pay better attention next time!
