HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Sent mine out to get ported a month ago and I have a feeling I'm not going to be seeing it back anytime soon, if at all.

So I need a LS1 cable throttle body, with working sensors from a late model F body.

LMK what you have, I want to be able to drive my car again!

Doc, the 5.3 TB's are the same as LS1 with a smaller throttle cam for quicker response. The coolant lines are different, but if you did the coolant line bypass then you are set.

Thanks Rob. I haven't done the coolant bypass yet, but I certainly could. Really pissed off about this, as it looks like I lost my money AND my throttle body with sensors in this transaction.

I asked him to just return it, but considering he's promised to send it back to me the next day 3 times in the past month I won't be holding my breath.

Yep, that's the guy. I sent him my throttle body so I wouldn't have to deal with modifying one to fit my car.

Did you have any issues dealing with him?

Well, he took a while to refund my"core" charge, but I bought one and was charged core. After receiving the Ported unit, then I sent him my old one. The 948 was down for about an hour. Sad

This sucks, I'm so pissed at myself for not looking that guy up on LS1tech.com, he's got a really crappy reputation there. If I'd read that I would've never sent him my throttle body.

Go to Performancetrucks. You can find ported bodies there sometimes. If not a new one from Ebay trusted vendor would get you by. Some vendors need continual customer backlash and/or a good old fashioned ass whoopin'. I'm puttin him on the "Sloan" list Mad

Someone on LS1tech is going to send me his stock tbody with sensors for a really fair price. Once I cut off the top of it at least I'll be able to drive my car while I wait to see if Jantzer ever ports and sends back my tbody.

let me check my car tommrow, i might still have it. i gave the 5.3 engine just needing a rebuild kit away, didnt want it to rust with me
