For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

vw g60 or vr6 mk3 swap?

i have a 924 s (that might be strip 4 parts ) thats 5lugs same has 944
i am currently working on a 1978 924 4 lugs since i already have a lots of vw parts and if i could spare my 5lugs conversion 4 my other 944 project i would be please and i waz wondering if anyone ever seen ether 924 0r 944 with tha master cylinder and galiper even bether if the diskand spindel 4x100 or the 5 bolt vr6 i have them also apics of the braket if possible just to save time trying to figure out maybe 4 nothing

Was that a drunk post? lol you can barley make out what your trying to say....
No one that I know of has put a VR6 in a 924... You'll be on your own for all the motor mounts and adapter plates. Why go thru all the trouble? Sell the VR6 and get a V8 that is already figured out and works beautifully. Either way it's going to be an expensive & a lengthy project; just a heads up.

im not that crazy on wasting time but im trying to sell the car with the stuff that not needed since my driveway look like a scrap yard if its possible ill just put the master and give a garage full parts with it i got 3 porsche and i probably only paint 2 but a gtr bodykit with drums might be a problem 4 selling anyway i waz juss asking before the snow covert them thanx anyway

There is someone on rennlist.com that put a VR6 in a 944. It should be possible to do for a 924, if that is what you are asking.

G60 motor with a big turbo. The G60 motor had a stronger block better head and internals, when compared to other 1.8L VW 8 valves.

No advantage to going with the G60 or VR6 brake setup over stock.

there is no plus to trying to install a vw master and booster or the calipers into the porsche 924 or 944 . if the vw/ audi brakes were so dam good you would not see people replaceing them on there VW's and the VW/audi built porsche's with real porsche brakes .
