Turbo tach vs. NON-turbo tach
For my conversion I replaced the turbo tach w/ bar indicator for a n/a tach.
Being that I live in CA, I have used all of my time from my last smog inspection and now I have to go back and get sniffied again. The good thing is that the tubo engine is still in the car and I can get it re-smog and buy two more years without having to worry about smog.
The problem is that I have put the cluster back in with the N/A tach and the car will not start. Is this because the bar gauge is not reading anything (it is an open circuit now?).
Do I need put the turbo tach assembly back in the cluster??
