HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

I am about to pull the engine from a 2000 Camaro SS and will need to reflash the ECM to eliminate the security system, rear 02 sensors etc. Can anyone point me to a reliable source to have this done, or a chip programming system that I can use to do it myself.

I have a complete engine harness from the car, which is from an automatic. Would I be better off buying a standalone harness or modifying the one I have?

If you just need the reflash and not tuned send it to me, I can also rework your factory wiring harness.

Not to take business from Eric or anything, but I did pay the guy who runs lt1swap.com to flash my ECU. Can't complain for 75 + shipping one way.

I can tune it for a stand alone setup, I just don't offer a "Mail Order" tune.

I actually used LT1 swap also, so I'm a hypocrite. Did a good job. Didn't really know the details of who was who at the time though.
