When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Does anyone have detail on the best location to tap the water pump for the porsche water temp sender? There is the nice flat spot right on top of the water pump but feeling around inside the water passage it feels like the sender might need to tapped at an offset rather than directly in the middle of that spot.

Also, how thick is the material in that spot? How many threads can I expect to get? I am concerned that it might be too thin and strip easily. Tap will be M14x1.5

Center punch, then drill a 1/2" dia. hole, then tap it carefully. Use 4-5 rotations of Teflon tape on sender. The thickness is about 1/4 to 5/16 inch there.
