HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.
Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin
For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

928 GTS rotors on 87-up 944 hub
Has anybody tried the 322mm 928 GTS rotors on the front hubs of the 944? If it fits the OD of the 944 hub without centering rings?

Not sure if it answers your question but read post #4. It says the GTS rotors have the same offset as the 951.

Re: 928 GTS rotors on 87-up 944 hub
Yes the 944T rotors with MO30 hubs are 77.2 mm tall and they match the 928 GTS rotors (77.0 mm). So if the 928-GTS rotors will slip fit the outer 944 hub like the factory 944 rotors do, then there is no need for centering rings like the Boxster S rotors require. The LS430 adapters can either be machined 10mm thicker and 3mm axial to radial spread and the 928GTS rotors won't need hub rings. And if you already have a set of the BoxsterS adapters, you can just add 10mm spacers between the spindle ears and 3mm spacers at the dowels......

Re: 928 GTS rotors on 87-up 944 hub
From that thread......If the 928 GT/S4 304 mm rotor fits, then the 928 GTS 322mm rotor is 160mm on the hub interface as well, so it should fit and be centered. These rotors will still fit under 17's and more of them because the Lexus calps will move inwards by 10mm more. Besides no centering rings needed, also a bonus to this bracket design is that the 94mm Turbo spindle ears will bolt up with out interfering with the radial through-bolts holding the Lexus calps. The only downside is 928GTS front rotors are getting scarce it seams.....there's always the 330mm Cayenne rotors for $55 a pop at Rock Auto.
