The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

944 Hybrid Wide Body
I guess it is my time to post some info on what I have been doing to my car.
Painted the engine bay today. The car is getting a color change from beige to black.

A fresh coat of paint makes a huge difference!

Here's the reverse hood mount before the paint.

Here's a few of the rear end setup with the air bags installed.

Smokin! Love the airbags and straight axle, doesn't look like a Ford 9 inch, what is it? The fender flares are absolutely amazing, I have so much left to do on mine, but those are something I must do in the future. Keep it coming!

92 Camaro rear end with 3:42's, I just picked up a 6 speed out of a 95' to put in front of it. I have air bag struts for the front also. I'll post pictures of them later next week.
Yes it's single. Ran out of time and energy, Have a car arriving Sunday/Monday and I have to get this off the lift asap.

Looks nice! So did you mount the crossmember in place of the torque tube? It looks like that in the photo.

Re: 944 Hybrid Wide Body
The cross member was built with a hump in it, to clear the drive shaft. Basically everything that was Porsche is gone, I just start with a clean slate. I removed everything.

Re: 944 Hybrid Wide Body
I was looking at this thread last night and wondering what was up with the widebody project. That is one clean motor.

Re: 944 Hybrid Wide Body
I have to many cars in the shop to work on my own right now a lot. I only get the evenings to work on it. I do have half the body panels made and sitting on the car. I'll post some pictures tomorrow. I personally think it looks awesome.
Re: 944 Hybrid Wide Body
Killer, definitely like the silver better! Are the valve covers black chrome? I have to rearrange my priorities, and spend more quality time with the beast. So jealous! BTW, the tranny plate fits great, I like it does not stick out, like other pics I have seen. Only problem is I neglected to realize I have to disassemble the transaxle to put in my ATB diff! So after a 5th gear swap, transaxle reinforcement plate, reassembly, ready for the diff, damn! Oh well, will rebuild it this winter, will run the S transaxle in the meantime, that is if I get it to running condition.

Re: 944 Hybrid Wide Body
wait until you guys get to see the pic's. It is killer. The new color is sweet, Eric is making a real mean street machine. His attention to detail and perfection are all over this project.

First set of panels out of the molds
This is the first set out of the molds, They are just hanging on the car. I haven't had time to get them final fitted and I need one of those dual cartridge guns for the rear quarters to be glued on. Hint , hint,

Thanks-

Re: 944 Hybrid Wide Body
Eric, I bought my dual cartridge gun on E-bay. I paid about $80 which included 1 08115 200mL panel adhesive. I used about 1.5 tubes to bond my Carrera GT flares.

Re: 944 Hybrid Wide Body
I just won a gun on Ebay, maybe I can get them bonded on over the next few weeks.
