HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Hello,

I was wondering what people have found to be the little things that kept you waiting to get your car on the road? The unexpected, odd and obscure. I'm trying to avoid needing a special little fitting on Friday afternoon before the Autocross that I'm hoping to make (not until the end of August though). I've worked on enough projects to know that the devil is in the details. Evil or Very Mad Hopefully some pretty interesting stuff will be posted that will help everyone that is hoping to get their cars running before the end of the summer.

I had to take my car apart to get to the hydraulic throwout bearing. I had to replace 2 dollars worth of o rings.... lol So if you have a hydraulic T.O.B. with lines that swivel; make sure you check to make sure the banjo joints are nice and tight... Lesson learned

Double check your cv acle bolts too. That is what put me down when mine popped out on me while driving

I had to beat in the drivers side frame rail so my drivers side header would fit. I found this out after the engine was installed... Also, I had to beat in the drivers side tunnel so the bellhousing would clear (old style 1pc housing).
