HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

engine in the backseat
i have an 84 parts car 944 and have thought of the radical idea of using a front drivev/8 engine transaxle combo.except instaling in the back seat. any sugestions on the lightest weight front drive v/8 with most hp.car aleady gutted so cutting out back should be no problem

Cadillac north star with auto trans. 300hp easily and would be a snap to install. I've put 2 in the back of kit cars for a guy and they're easy to do. Hell I've seen a Cadillac 500 with an auto trans in the back of a VW Beetle, So what's the difference!

you do see alot of northstars poping up in boneyards.i have a 16 boy that wants a project and he came up with the idea and im not needing the car for anything .good way to keep him busy this summer and out of trouble lol.one of your wide body kits would look right at home on a rear engine 944 .im gonna let him do it of course with my help.ive already located one that was totaled with rear end damage.98 seville northstar.i wonder how it will handle .fuel tank and radiator in front should help with weight dist.
