HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

I know some people remove it, but I prefer to keep it intact. Only requires a simple vacuum hookup to the engine.

Can you put 87 Turbo Evan Turbo break calipers on 1985 NA944

87 Turbo calipers came from a late offset car and I believe your 85 944 NA is an early offset vehicle. They won't bolt directly onto your car without some changes. The calipers are the same between a late and early offset vehicle but all of the other components are different. Therefore you will need to change your rotors, hubs, spindles and struts to convert to the Turbo brakes.
