For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

944 PARTS from Canada beware!!

Hello ALL I am new to the forum , I have a warning for all buying parts from DR 911 Fuchs Wheel Company 16857B 32 Ave Surrey BC V3SOL5 Canada

This Guy has no Idea of service nor communication I have purchased a 944 Turbo Gearbox and had it shipped to Western Australia .
He told me he would arrange for it to be flown to Western Australia via DHL or Fed Ex .
Then he changed it to shipping via Sea freight , didn't tell me( 1st strike)
Took 4 weeks to supply me with a tracking number that actually worked ( 2nd Strike )
Was eventually notified my goods had arrived at the Port of Fremantle with a surcharge of $850 AUS for port charges when my postage documentation was for a delivery to my business in Welshpool Perth .
(Strike 3)
It now turns out I have to pay a cleaning fee for the box when I explicitly told him in my email communication that it had to be cleaned thoroughly....( Strike 4)
I have tried numerous times to contact him giving him an opportunity to sort out the problem with no answers.
Hopefully I will get some joy from Pay pal , I haven't got the box in my possession as yet but if the box is no good then i will be going for a complete refund ....
Just alerting you all to this guy Kirk !!!
Don't trust him at all ...
