HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Hi everybody, so I have been very interested in porsche 944s and the awesome v8 swaps that you can do with them. I am a junior in highschool and I want to build and drive a car this summer. First of all, is it possible to do an ls1 swap for around 8k? I figure that I can get a decent body for about 2k and an engine for 3k. I also would need a conversion kit so that would be another 2k. I want a car that I can drive but I dont really care about other creature comforts like A/C or heating, as well as power steering or not. What would be the bare minimum for other expenses that I would have? I have some experience with cars and mechanics but this would be a huge step up in the size of the project for me. I am good at figuring things out for myself and am a fast learner but I know that there would a huge learning curve for this kind of project. I have several good friends and people who would be able to help me but not all of the time. Would this be a plausible plan to start and at least drive this summer if I am dedicated?

Thanks all for the wonderful resource that this forum provides! Very Happy
