For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

the corvette master cylinder doesnt mount with a flange and bolts, its inserted into the firewall and turned 1/4 turn to lock it in place. its a real stupid design, my cobalt ss/sc uses the same setup and after a number of years with a performance clutch it cracked and broke the firewall cause me a huge headache.

Clutch Master B4ouez10 this unit is for a 2005 to 2008 vette. It is a bolt in unit . I saw the plastic one. That could be plated both sides and used. It is a small unit. If the bolt in one fits size wise. Takes the guess work out and in theory is should work perfect being that it came from factory. Just saying.

i cant find that one listed anywhere for a corvette. to me that doesnt even look like a gm master cylinder, it looks more like something on an import. all the corvette ones 97+ look like this

According to GM will work for 2005 to 2013 it also says it works on 95 plus models.

Hey Guy,
We have a full size 7/8 clutch master that is modified and fits in the stock location.
Has new clevis that fits stock location.
Has SS hose and fittings for Throw out bearing and clutch master
Comes with  90 degree hose fitting to work with stock 944 brake master.
Steel sleeved.

$134.99 with hose for throw out bearing.

all i know is the master you posted a pic of is not what a corvette master cylinder looks like.

corvette master cylinders are the same bore size as what we have already, so its 2 other things that cause the low pedal people complain about: either its less pedal travel or a numerically higher pedal ratio, or both. either results in less fluid than required to actuate the slave far enough. changing the pedal ratio would require angling the master cylinder to prevent it from loading the side of the bore. the simplest way to fix it is to go with a larger bore master cylinder, 13/16" or 7/8".

Maybe its one of those "stock photo/actual part may differ from whats shown" things that lazy sellers do all too often these days.

i searched ebay for "2005 corvette clutch master cylinder" and i saw that image on one auction, in amongst a sea of pics of the one i posted.
