For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

Early Tach not working with LS3?
I'm finally getting around to wiring in all my gauges, and one issue I have is that the early tach is not working with my LS3. I verified my tach output from my Gen IV controller is working by using a Sunpro Tach with a 470ohm resister. But wiring the same setup into the thin green wire in the 9 pin connector on the firewall did not seem to work. Am I doing something wrong with my wiring?
Thanks
Thanks

Got it all working... Turns out the 12V switched signal to the tach is disconnected somewhere. Maybe when I removed the DME and engine harness? I put 12v to pin 5, and the tach works. Now I just need to wire it properly.

Pin 5 on the 9 pin connector or at the Gauge itself?

Which one superman22x? Did you add 12v at the 9 pin connector under the hood, or was it at the back of the gauge?
