When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Hello Forumers,
Following some recent feedback from some users asking for more tutorials, I will begin to make some, this one is to do with the basic interface when you make a post. The picture below is the image you will see when you make a post, the table below explains what each button that has been numbered does.

How to on Posting. Empty vary usful and much appreciated explaination of all the buttons

Post  Firehawkslp Fri Aug 02, 2013 8:55 pm

That one graphic did more for my understanding then anything else I've seen or been able to find, as a matter of fact I  made a copy for my own personal use.
I first went online with my first computer purchase about 1995 and in that time have joined a number of different boards and always thouight it strange there was never a tutorial on how to post or use the tools of the board. Rolling Eyes
Really just wanted to say thanks for that and starting and hosting this little shindig. These nich boards are a god send to us nich enthusisiasts and I am; first it was the Hbody owner group ie: vega, astra, monza, firenza, skyhawk. Wink
To today and this happy little band of individuals who look at a car and don't see the car as it is but as we will have it. If this doesn't scratch that itch to build a car take a look at this place Locost USA now thats building a car literally order the steel and start cutten there are on line plans and a couple of books; there are also guys on that board with serious skill sets.Exclamation

How to on Posting. Empty Thank You!

Post  Raymond-P Sat Jul 19, 2014 4:20 pm

This is my first post! I joined the site nearly a year ago to see what I might get into and got hooked. Now I'm just about finished with my LS1 build and ready to begin the actual conversion. I've been documenting the process from the concept stage and figured on posting the entire adventure.  This bit of guidance was exactly what I needed to get started. Thanks again!

In the past I haven't been able to post pics with windows 8. When you say you fixed it was that part of the fix?
