Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin
For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Announcement of Change of Ownership of Forum and Texas Performance Concepts
Announcement of Change of Ownership for 944Hybrids.Formotion.com (Forum) and TexasPerformanceConcepts.com (TPC).
Now before anybody speculates too fast, let us tell you what we are doing. Eric/Admin has a new opportunity he is pursuing. To do so will require his dedicated time and effort. In talking to each other, he recognized he will not be able to operate either the Forum or TPC and will need a clean exit from both. I support him in his decision; it is a great opportunity for him. To that end, Eric and I reached an agreement for me to purchase both the Forum and assets of TPC.
We should all thank Eric for creating TPC, bringing such great products to market, putting up the Forum and managing it. Let’s all wish him good luck on his next adventure.
Now let me introduce myself, my name is Kent, and I have been with Eric since the beginning of TPC and the Forum. My Forum name is Vorsche944. Many of you know me from handling the sales calls, coming by the shop, and other interactions at TPC. So I am not a new comer to either the Forum or TPC.
For the Forum, my intent is to keep the Forum as is, a free and open communication for the support of 944 V8 and other projects. You should see no changes.
For TPC, we have secured the services or our current part fabricators to insure that the TPC quality remains high and reliable. We are also planning on adding some more parts to the store in the next few months. To address the status of current orders, there will be no disruption orders placed with TPC.
Per Eric’s request, as part of the purchase, I am taking owner ship of all the phone numbers, and emails he has related to the Forum and TPC. This is parts of his need for a clean break. I will be fielding the calls to TPC and about the Forum.
I look forward to supporting the projects of our members.

Lots of good parts, and good forums knowledge - I'm glad to see it is all to carry on in good hands.

Re: Announcement of Change of Ownership of Forum and Texas Performance Concepts
Doc and Forum members, Texas Performance Concepts will still be providing its parts and adding to the list. The change in ownership should have no impact on the forum or the TPC products.

Thank so much Eric, I discovered all of this stuff well after you had been in it for a while... but I greatly appreciate all the hard work you put in over the years. Good luck in life, wherever it may take you...
Kent, great to hear someone else very close and knowledgeable is taking over and can continue to keep everything going. Thanks for stepping up and I hope TPC continues to flourish.
