HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Hi guys,
hope im welcome here.. ive seen lots of negativity towards 944's with engine transplants.. looks like this is the perfect place for my project ( wait is this for v8 conversion only?!)
anyway, here the specs on my car
944

R154 transmission
Adaptronic e420d ecu
bc valve springs and retainers (272 cam coming soon)
arp head studs
Precision 6765H Turbo
Apexi intercooler
Tial 44mm Wastegate (will install soon)
Tial BOV
FIC 1000cc
Fuel Lab Fuel pressure reg
fuel lab filter
walbro 400
Ptp turbo blanket

Don't remove it that is an awesome conversion. What did you do about the brakes? I can't see them from the picture.

@arthropraxis i installed a wilwood compact master and a remote brake booster (mounted it on the stock battery location) looks like the pic got cropped and it is not displaying correctly on the thread..
do any of you use your 944 for drag racing or you guys use it for track?

Mine's not done but it'll be a street car with occasional track days at places like Infineon and Laguna Seca. The 944 lends itself to that sort of thing more than drag racing I think.

More info on the remote brake booster please! I in the process of swapping a boosted 4G63 into my 944 right now, but I am damn certain it will not come out as pretty as your swap.
