For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

yeah, what do you guys want to do with the PHB wiki? Just import it over here? Same with some of the how-to's and everything... I can spend lunch today importing some of the info, but I'm not sure how the powers that be want it organized.

Thanks for starting the new board though!

I am the same 88-toy, that I was over there. Based in Alvarado, Texas. I have a few friends that are helping here, I'm sure you all know. They will post there faces whenever they want to. I have nothing to hide, just ask and I'll try to accommodate. All I ask in return is that you share with others what you know or have learned.

Please don't bash the other guys to bad around here. I would rather get back to business. Let's bring whomever we can to this site and I will expand it as much as I can to make it work.

So many choices now. There are now 2 BBS (not including the original PH) which have been created by old members. I have joined up on both but am wondering which will cater more to the hybrid builder. As of now I am not quite sure.

Justin started the Wiki, and Doug was involved somewhere...I wouldn't touch that. Also, if this is not RH BS, here's what Doug just said about us and PHB.

I have not read any of your posts regarding the sale of the board as of this writing. I have been made aware of the fact that several of you think this was a 'hostile takeover' involving legal threats. As you may have noticed in my past dealings regarding the legality of the name 'porschehybrids', I fear no lawyer hence I have no fear of a couple of business people.

This sale was a personal decision on my part. It started with Renegade's disapproval of some detailed CAD-type drawings that they thought were infringing on their business. I was unwilling to remove them, although I never thought it was right that people were reverse-engineering their parts and offering up detailed drawings. I told them that if they wanted them removed, the only way it would happen is if they bought the board from me, and they did.

I knew when I sold them the board that the stuff they found offensive would be removed. What I didn't know was that they were going to unsubscribe the 'offenders', and I'm going on record as saying this was a bad idea.

Lastly, for those who want to vilify me, remember this....this board never would have existed without my foresight and hard work. I believe Renegade should be given a chance to prove that they will run this board in much the same manner as it's always been run. This is what we agreed upon as a condition of the sale, and I believe you are in good hands.

I suggest everybody take a time-out and see how it goes.

My appologies Doug...

Are we free to exchange unpatented diagrams and parts here or is there a possibility of trouble if we do so? In other words, are we RH free here or are they allowed in this site?
