HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.
Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin
For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Re: New GTS headlight conversion kit available NOW page 5
No improvements yet, but so close
I’m seriously thinking about taking a day off work to focus on this for a full day.
I will post pics and update as soon as I get something decent.
On a side note, I’m selling the kit that I have on my car (pics above, light bronze, fibreglass buckets, used brackets and Autopal lights) for $300 + shipping
Thanks

Re: New GTS headlight conversion kit available NOW page 5
Sorry guys, here’s the latest progress:
1- Found out that my 951 front nose is warp ish, and this is why I had so much trouble with the driver side.
2- The passenger side is ready to be test fit to a 951 / S2 car
3- I need someone in Ottawa, Ontario or close to, so I can do the test fitment and do the necessary fine tuning.
The last point is the big stopper right now, any volunteer?
Thanks

951 / S2 update
I remove the front nose of my 931 and put the 951 nose on.
Now I would like to validate the geometry with some measurements.
Please take a moment and pull the measuring tape on your car.
Measure “A” will be easy and can be done by everyone, but “B” can only be done by those without headlight on there car.
Please use metric measurement (centimetre and millimetre).
Thank you for your input

You have a few kits sold for the 951/S2 as soon as you get them ready! I am still waiting patiently for one. You make the fit right and it will be worth the wait

I mounted a set of 951/S2 covers to my car; it’s not a win battle but a big step forward
Both moulds will need a bit of trimming; they are too high at the bend

Driver side (left) still sitting a bit high at the inside corner, see for your self below

Re: New GTS headlight conversion kit available NOW page 5
I know it's a laborious process to make the fit look like a factory unit but I am telling you it will pay off when you get to the point of selling these as a kit. Nothing is better then a happy customer! The advertising you get from happy customers is the best and cheapest form advertising! It's not worth it to rush a product out that is not ready. I want a set as soon as they are ready to sell. I have friends that want to see how good mine fit and if they look great you will get more orders from them. You can see from my post's I have been patiently waiting for the finished unit. I have a S2 that I am going to install them on. So shoot me a PM when they are ready and we will do some business! They are looking good!!!!

Looks like I'm back in the market for a set. Can't wait until the 951 set is ready.

Re: New GTS headlight conversion kit available NOW page 5
I’m getting ready to build the first 951/S2 kit for my tester.
I worked on it last week-end but a cheap a$$ tool destroyed one of the template/tool I’m using to trim the buckets and the bucket.
I was so mad I almost trough everything in the garbage.
Good news, I calmed down and build a new one.
Bad news, it took most of the after noon so I ran out of time.
That’ll teach me for buying cheap tool.
