The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

I Pulled LS1 Engine and Engine Harness and was wondering what else I need from the 2000 Camaro donor car? I also pulled the battery cables. Do I need the fuse box or any relay setup?

When I wired my car I re-used the stock camaro fuel pump relay and the fuse box from the camaro. It all depends on how your planning on wiring your car I guess (pre-made harness vs. self wired).

If you have the means, and its relatively cheap or even free, take all you can. Especially anything electrical. Id also grab the radiator hoses to help with mock-up.

Thanks for the advice. I have pretty much the whole car, so I'll pull what I can.

grab the ALDL plug from under the dash and if you are going to run AC, grab as much of that plumbing stuff.

That's what I suspected. I always called it the OBDII connector. I assume there's a cable the runs to the LS1 engine harness.

This is , but there is not! The wires that connect to it seem to join into the dash harness. There isn't a direct connect to it. I just cut it with as much wire as you can get. You will have to make your own connection to the ECU anyway.
