HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Need Pricing Help on throwout slave
What should I expect to pay for the C5 throwout slave? I have found a bellhousing for $125 shipped to me and the guy wants another $130 for the slave. Good/Bad/OK?

Check Autozone, I believe you can use on from the s10 blazer, I am not sure what years off the top of my head , But I think they were around $70

xschop mentioned the S10 part but he also thought there was an issue with it being an exact fit.

I don't know for sure. But you know GM everything is generic most of the time, Just not the price

Oh, all else fails just shoot down to the parts store and have them pull one of each and do a visual...

XS was referring to trimming the slave housing for the recess in the adapter plate. All it takes is a dremel. Also, the Corvette slave may be $130, but the S10 is about $70-75.
