Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

I have been lurking and decided that maybe it is time to introduce myself. I have an 87 NA 944 that I am planning on swapping to a fairly basic LS1/2/3 for daily driver duty and some auto-x and maybe a track day. I have already contacted Eric and hope to get something done towards the end of the year, if all goes well. I have already decided that I am not going to do this myself. This is mainly due to the fact that I want it to actually get done and done right. I am one of those people that starts a project and then gets side tracked and doesn't get it done. Learning from my mistakes has lead me to just having Eric do it and being done with it. I am really excited about this and can't wait to get it all set up.

oh yeah. Pictures and details. The car has a total of 73K miles on it and while it does need some little things fixed it is in excellent shape. Until I saw someone on here bought a 968 for 3500 I thought I had gotten quite the deal but maybe not. Oh well.

I wish my car was still that color, some P.O. painted it Guards Red. Neutral

Welcome to the group! Yea, $3500 for a 968... I cry when I think about that too.

Yeah, I still think that I got a good deal. That guy stole that 968.

Honestly, Im not in love with the color but I think that I will keep it because it isn't that common and it is in fairly good shape.
