When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Carbon fiber look Empty Carbon fiber look

Post  ffmedic Thu Jul 09, 2009 9:32 pm

I was watching a show last week in which they painted a car to look like it was carbon fiber.
I just purchased a front bumper from fiberwerks and wanted to paint that and few other pieces to look like it was carbon fiber with paint.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to paint these pieces so they look like carbon fiber?

You need not paint. Its a roll of vinyl thats very thin and plyable. They did this to a lambo in flat black.

What show was it? I have looked up shows on the net and found thier sponsor list and got the name of the supplier and did research with that. How did they make it look like carbon fiber? It would take for ever to mask off the pattern then hours to paint it. Are you sure it wasn't vinyl or something like that?

Where can we buy this? Sticker city can't be the only place to get it...
