HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.
Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin
For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Re: Wilwood 330mm Big Brake kit for NA cars
The Ebay rotors are good to go. I've still yet to burn up the R1 concepts rotors I got and the Advance Rotors brand are O.K. as well....
The only thing you need to do is get 2ea 1/8-27 NPT to AN adapters if you have AN braided lines. My car already had them and was a simple switch of caliper end fittings. I bought another large stick of billet and will be churning out centering rings for some 928 modders and a couple GT3 racers. They will fit the 355mm Cayenne rotors as well
Hey Spence, those look great. How much clearance side and top and what is the offset? I'm sure the 928S guys will be interested. Thanks

Not on an 86 NA unless you have a custom hub.

Bordin, Now that I think about it, The Wilwood Dynapro will fit an 86 951 300mm rotor on the 86 NA spindles/Hubs and I will be mocking those up soon.

Awesome, I've been wanting to do a brake conversion since I bought the car but wanted to keep early offset so I can run my 16" Fuchs.

Re: Wilwood 330mm Big Brake kit for NA cars
Anyone know how I can get my hands on a set of these adapters? Or the prints?
I'm also interested in the ls430 swap, and the adapters. Or prints.
I have to say, I've use xcshop's RX7 swap and it works great. Had the adapters milled locally from posted prints.
THANKS XCSHOP!!!
I've yet to post enough to PM people , otherwise I'd PM him.

If you,did not get the 1.62 piston Superlights then you'll have issues with factory MC.

Re: Wilwood 330mm Big Brake kit for NA cars
Please tell me you are still fabricating these/have a pair left! I have the 1978 Porsche 924 that was converted to 944 brakes, turbo twist 2 wheels as well. The car is in the shop at the moment and we are trying to figure out the best route and this appears to be it!
I'm sure you are familiar with the car:

Completely out of the Superlite adapters. I will debut the "Bigger Black" adapters and send you a set out with centering rings for the Cayenne 330 rotors.

Do you have any more wilwood adapters for NA cars or can you make me a set still?
