For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

LS conversion long tube headers!
There is still a lot of work to be done, but these fit!

Oh don't mind the tape, it's just one small piece that is missing and I have to wait for a bend to be made for it.

Re: LS conversion long tube headers!
This going to be my header solution, I have tried to use other vendors with poor success. As we have seen with other parts here on the site, if you want it done you should just do it yourself. These will be for sale in my store

as soon as the final parts are made and I have time to make a jig to reproduce them accurately.

Re: LS conversion long tube headers!
you had a set not too long ago that had air tubes for us that have to deal with smog nazi's. Will you have that feature for these and / or are the other style available?

Re: LS conversion long tube headers!
I can install the air tubes like I am going to do for Rdanford, but They are not CARB certified or anything like that. The tubes are there for function and looks (Uneducated Nazi inspectors) . that is all. You would have to deal with the fact they may not pass inspection if they ask for the tag or sticker.
Re: LS conversion long tube headers!
Your welcome to use mine to reproduce if you would like/if it would help. Already setup, I just need to finish some minor welding.

Thanks but these are pretty much done other than some weld clean up and collector flanges being put on.

Re: LS conversion long tube headers!
Awesome Eric! Put me down for a set please, with the air pump stuff, no EGR.
Eric, I'll give you a call to talk to you about how these will mate up with the rest of my exhaust system...
Also guys I'll have my S&P coated short tube headers with air pump and EGR ports for sale as soon as Eric has a set of long tubes available for me!

I finished the Passenger side header today, I'll finish the Driver side tomorrow and then off to get the jig made. Well off one table to another table at least.

Re: LS conversion long tube headers!
Understood about the CARB certification. It is a real pain here in California. First I have to get the stock manifolds modified along with the steering column. Anyway, once I get past that I can swap out to the shorties or long tubes as long as they have the right appearance and functionality. I should be able to slip past a inspection only test as Eric suggested.

Not to thread jack, but I will. Would it not be easier modify the U-joints to work around the stock manifolds, to initially get past the emission board?

Re: LS conversion long tube headers!
need to do both. the flange needs to be canted to tuck closer to the block and the steering shaft needs to be cut in half and a ujoint installed. also had to buy a modified upright from renegade to hold a mount for the bisected shaft. a real pain in the butt but I have no choice. there are pictures in my gallery of a set up like this...
Re: LS conversion long tube headers!
Wife was curious if the puppy was part of the purchase, I would be a set to make her happy. Lol.
They look good but I am stuck with my RH headers..
