For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

87-up Turbo Spindle
I need an 87-up Turbo spindle (NON 86T)
Doesn't matter which side, I only need one for mock-up of a few different Big Brake kits I'm working on. There will soon be adapters to mount Wilwood Superlites to fit the NA spindles and Turbo spindles. I am also doing the mock-ups to fit the Porsche Brembo Turbo calipers (94mm ears) to the 87-up NA spindle (76mm ears). And when the parts arrive I am also going to build adapter to put 928 S4 calipers (130mm radial ears) on the NA and Turbo spindles as well

Re: 87-up Turbo Spindle
As a heads up there will be adapters for these Wilwoods that put them on 298 x 28 87-88T rotors (fit under 16" phonies) and 304 x 32 (M030) rotors for extreme heat/track use....

Re: 87-up Turbo Spindle
Glad to see you're doing this! I haven't priced those calipers lately but i've been saying for a while that the 944 guys need to get away from the "big reds" and "big blacks". These Wilwood calipers are top notch and they cost 1/3 as much!

Re: 87-up Turbo Spindle
Got that straight, and the pad selection is primo with an area equivalent to the Big Blacks/Reds. Piston size is selectable as well.....

Re: 87-up Turbo Spindle
Nice, so those are equivalent to a ~41mm piston. The pad selection is what really makes them a steal, though.
Let me know when you get these adapters made for an '87T spindle, and how much you want for 'em

Re: 87-up Turbo Spindle
I worked out an adapter to put on a Cayenne front 330mm x 32 x 69 offset rotor on the Early 928 spindle/hub. It would need centering rings like the BoxsterS rotors, but would also fit these calipers and fit under 17's on the 944....just another option to muse.
I need an 87-up Turbo spindle regardless if anyone has a loaner.
