The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

Re: GM 3800 V6 swap
Steering itself feels good, the most important part is the angle, should not be more 33-35 degrees, if it is, you'll feel it, i used the borgeson joints, but i recommend using the d shaft or double d, they are safer and easier to modify if needed with out messing the joints up

Really interested in doing a 3800 twin turbo set up in my 87 944S. Is there any word on this becoming a kit? If not what is the cost for install?

What are the crank/snout dimensions? I see where the Camaro uses a 15mm ID bronze/oilite pilot bearing....
Heavy Duty; Bore=0.592", Outer Diameter=0.829", Width=0.755"

I found a 2.2l s10 auto Bellhousing on eBay and snatched it up.

Re: GM 3800 V6 swap
Hey It's been a bit since i read through this thread but it looks like if you retain the stock 3.8 flywheel an pressure plate, you would need a clutch with the porsche's 1in by 23 spline input but the camaro's 9.49 diameter. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
that clutch should fit.... no custom clutches

pilot bearing
Anyone know if there's a pilot bearing that could fit in the 3800 series II? Seems like I heard that a bronze bushing couldn't be used due to the shaft's tip not being heat treated. Thanks!
