HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.
Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin
For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Who's taking over for RH??
I have to say that even before this little revolution from PH and RH, I was never to impressed with RH's stuff. I've seen more posts about poor quality of parts, worse customer service, and unreal ship times (Up to 3 months waiting for parts??? BS). And now with all thats been happening, I am flat out not going to buy anything from them. I had/am planning on making what I can for myself, but I'm not an engineer, and don't have access to a machine shop. So my question is...
Would someone on here want to volunteer to make a new kit? That was the one thing that was great about RH. You call them, tell them you're putting an LS engine in a 944, and they sent you 90 to 99% of everything you needed.
I think that might be the downfall of the "revolution". We're going at it alone. If we had a kit, or if a group of guys could produce the parts together to make up a kit, I think this board and most importantly, its members would greatly benefit from it. A one stop shop is GREAT for the guys that aren't very mechanically inclined, and the guys who just don't want to take the time to piece everything together.

Re: Who's taking over for RH??
I believe Greg and Eric have done just that. PM either with more info but they have a website that has the required parts to do it.

RH Alternative...COMING SOON!
There is something in the works...not through the forum, but it seems to be a great RH alternative. (Only used parts may be sold here.) An outside link would have unlimited potential, though. I can at least tell you this...LSX headers are close, and LTX long-tube headers are also in the process.
It has taken a year for this to materialize, but don't worry...it is coming. Like a freight train, and it won't be railroaded this time.

Re: Who's taking over for RH??
We should have the website updated and ready for orders soon. We just have a few things left to do before we offer it all up. If you are in a hurry for small parts and pieces give us a PM and we'll see what we can do for you. Also. Like Greg wrote we will try to keep the "for sale" stuff to private individuals on this site
Thanks
Eric
Thanks
Eric

As soon as the LS headers are cracked and oil pans are sourced, there will be a pool of hard parts from the various members here, and most importantly, support from the board. A real win/win situation for everybody. There are enough talented people here to do it all.

They sent Renegade Steve down to try and drive us away.

Re: Who's taking over for RH??
Hello boys,
I'm sorry I haven't replied to my own post. I had to go work in a tiny town in Utah for 3 weeks, and they not only didn't have the internet, but they hadn't heard of it either LOL.
..... And, I don't really have anything to add to this post. It all sounds great. I plan on making up most of my own parts from the plans on this site. I will also donate to everyone who's plans I use.
This site is turning out to be what the other board should have been (and started out being).
Thanks guys,

Re: Who's taking over for RH??
What would you guys think of possibly (probably not a chance in hell) buying the board from them and calling it our own again?
Although, we have something really sweet going on here, which makes it hard to justify... Just wondering.

Re: Who's taking over for RH??
NO. If I'm the ONLY member left @ 944Hybrids, so be it...I will not go back. Now RH is posting some of what they deleted in an attempt to justify their BS (on Pelican Parts...). I have everything they have, PMs and all. RH "remnants" will always be there...
Their "moral compass" is so F'd up, they couldn't find their way out of their own ass. Damn, the "RH" plate that was in question had flaws that have been resolved thanks to xschop...the mounts bind on at least two known installations, and the new versions fit flawlessly (the overall specifications are different on these as well...).
To all the misinformed, corrupt, manipulating little parasites at Renegade Hybrids:
Post away, jack-asses...I don't care if a little competition panics you. The World saw the same posts for a year, and embraced that information readily. What makes you think any thing you say or do will have an effect on potential hybriders decisions? OH...I guess the only logical decision they could make would be..."RUN!"
25 years of "Push 'n' Pull" is starting to bite back, huh?
