When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Any Jap engine utilizing the A340 trans can fit with the adapter. I am busy at the moment modifying one to mate a 1gz to the Vette 6 speed torque tube. It is the hybrid of all hybrids.Twisted Evil

Hi xchop,
Who did your bellhousing to torque tube adapter? I am in the middle of a Ford conversion. It's been a 25 year project, (kids and their school and sports push the priorities). I was originally going with the stock T5 BH and using a BMW M6 rear end, but the fabricating half shafts got me. So now looking at everyone using the Comet BH to the stock TT, I'll do the same. Now I just need the adapter plate.

Thanks,

I think you meant Harold's TT plate. I would only be interested in machining out some Ford Mod motor TT adapters. Would be cool to see the Supercharged Mustang motor installed.

My friend drew it up in ProE and gave that to a friend of a friend to machine since he doesn't have a rotary table on his mill. I can see if he still has the drawing.

How much would your friend charge to make another adapter plate?

Thanks,

He didn't make the first one, he called in a favor from someone else. If there's a machine shop anywhere near you, they should be able to make one from a drawing. All it is is a round piece of aluminum with some shoulders on it. We drew it with bolt holes for the torque tube and then marked the holds for the bell housing with a scribe, so those aren't on the drawing.
