After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

New Toolkit

Post  quarterflash on Tue Aug 10, 2010 5:55 am

Hi
I need a new set of sockets and spanners. What sizes do I need for an LT1? Also do I need any special tools? I have the 95 corvette LT1 with all ancilliaries and wiring. Its going into a 944 Turbo.
Thanks

12 point internal drive tool (also called triple square drive or cheesehead tool)

The Napa part numbers are as follows:

8mm - SER2304
10mm - SER2305
12mm - SER2306

I found a complete set somewhere else, but I can't remember where.

Thanks Luke
So would I be right in assuming metric spanners fit UNC bolts?

I don't know whether the LT1 is english or metric, I know the LS1 is all metric. If the LT1 is english you'll probably have to pick up so SAE wrenches and sockets.
