When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Where are you guys sourcing your LS1's from?

Post  docwyte on Mon Aug 02, 2010 8:13 pm

Any junkyards in particular that are good? Ones that I should avoid?

I talked with a smog referee last week, I need to retain all the factory sensors etc. So that means the air pump, 2 cats, 4 O2 sensors, etc.

The '02 LS1 came with an electric air pump that will make installing it easier, between that and the '02 motors coming with the LS6 intakes that's the one I want...

I got mine from Kosiski Auto parts, they were great to work with and the engine looks like it's in great shape although I haven't started it yet.

I got mine from Fbodies in Philly, complete, low mileage, and proof of mileage, saw the title, and the donor car, since I drove up there to pick it up. They specialize in the fbody cars.

They seem to do a lot of LS1 complete swaps, shipping was very reasonable too.
