When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

I found a brass looking cylinder on my rear brake line coming out of the master cylinder. does anyone know what this is for? There was not one on the early car.

Bias valve.
If you look in your conversion manual there is a section on these.

It's a pretty good time to buy a Wilwood manual proportioning valve and stick it inline on the back brakes.

Re: what is this?
the manual one you are talking about, would allow me to adjust the rear brakes as needed? I am just swapping into a daily driver car. what is best for a street setup?

Re: what is this?
Yup, you just turn the knob until you have the desired braking pressure! (May require some fine tuning, you want to avoid having your rear brakes lock up)

Just search for "Wilwood proportioning" at your favorite speed parts store (or ebay), they're about $50. Since you already have to re-do the brake lines at the master, they're no extra effort to add in.

Re: what is this?
that looks nice. Does the stock proportioning valve not put enough brake pressure at the rear?

Re: what is this?
Nah, the stock setup is fine if you're not changing anything on the brake system. I put a Wilwood master cylinder on mine so the adjustable bias is required. It would also be necessary if you change the rear brake calipers.
