For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

I'm almost ready to start the LS1 swap, I have all the parts in house except Greg is providing a modified set back plate and mount for the pax side. (Fouls the Compressor).
My Driver's side header is at the welders for modification to clear the steering.
Picture shows my "new" 17" cup 1 wheels, fronts are replica 7.5 J and rears are Porsche 9 J.
Tires are 225-45-17 fronts and 255-40-17 all Falkens. Does not seem to be any problems with body fouling.
I have a pair of the 7J's and one 9J for sale along with the original phone dials with nearly new tires.
The first mod I did was to run a 3" exhaust system ready for when the LS1 goes in.
I was fortunate to find a Turbo transmission with LSD and also have ordered a new set of Torque Tube bearings from Constantine. Original 79 paint.
