The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

No problem, I'm in no rush as my track season is over until spring. I'll keep an eye on this thread.

xschop wrote:Sorry for the late reply. I will have some done in 3-4 weeks and the late mounts will be a new 2-piece design where you can undo 2 bolts and have a factory setting or V-8 swap set-back setting. My billet hubs are finally up next on the CNC for programming. The pot-holes are mini-craters around here lol.

I put the finishing touches on my new designed LATE mounts. They have both the factory dimensions and the V8 swap 0.5" set back dimensions conveniently adjusted by 2 large set screws. Simply turn the trans interface 180 degrees..... Same as before all hardware and new 60A Poly bushings included.....$225 shipped USPS PRIORITY to any US-48

After my recent clutch change at almost 25K miles, my poly bushings were in perfect shape and I re-used them with no issues.

I saw a pic where someone accidentally mounted the intermediate trans hanger part on the backside of the mount....that would get a 1-1.5" setback without spacers....JAT

Sorry for the late reply lol. Been busy with an LS swap myself. That looks correct for the V8 set-back location K-chunk.

I finished another run of these adjustable mounts and have ready to ship, just PM. I take Paypal. Very Happy

I had a question recently about install and realized I forgot to add this pic before to the thread.
The new 2-piece adjustable mount only needs a washer between the shoulder bolt head and factory metal cross-brace.

Can the holes that need to be opened up be done with the trans in the car ?

No. The stock trans mount also uses those holes on the cross member. So if the trans is in the car, there are bolts through the holes you need to open up.

Any mounts still available? I think I would need the late style v8-adjustable mount, I have a 1985.5 944.
