If you are looking for an occasional use leak down tester you can by one at a place like Harbor Freight or a no name brand online for under $50. You can buy a house brand from Summit or Jegs for about $80. I own a Longacre that is 6-7 years old that with a case, several fittings and synthetic hoses I thing was around the $150 range. If have looked an a couple inexpensive ones over the years and most are pretty much all the same, the biggest difference being the quality of the hoses and the size of the gauges.
Just my 3 cents worth of advice.

I was looking at harbor frieght, they come in under 50 bucks. Any where else is pulling in 90 for one brand and OTC price is over 150.

I didnt know if Harbor Frieght would be good enough to do the occansional test.

I think for the couple times a year the Harbor Freight or any house brand would do you just fine.
