For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Heynsdyk Launches Its 2500 SF sports car

This week saw the launching of a sleek and sporty roadster 2500 SF by Dutch sports car maker, Heijnsdijk. Created from a Porsche 944, Heijnsdijk 2500 SF is 100% galvanized, reliable and easily available in the market. The marvelous roadster weights 900 pounds, which is 300 pounds less than the original one. Powered with 163hp engine driving 2500 SF would give an ultimate experience altogether. Its top speed is 250km/h and will reach 0-100km in just 6 seconds. The original badge of the 944 is retained so as 2500SF vintage can be recorded. The reliability and easy maintenance of 2500SF makes it suitable for the everyday use.
The substantially lighter body, in galvanized steel, takes weight down to 900 kilograms (1,980 pounds) while maintaining 50/50 weight distribution. There are six engine choices, from a basic 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 163 horsepower, to a 2.5-liter four-pot S-motor with a turbo. That one will get you 250 horsepower, and from 0 to 60 in six seconds. Top speed is limited to 250 kilometers per hour (155 miles per hour).
You can buy the car as a kit or a finished product, and prices start at €14,750 ($20,798 U.S.) for the kit, or €36,995 ($52,158 U.S.) for a ready runner. Like its countrymate Spyker, what the car might lack in beauty it makes up for in unique and arresting looks.
