Need some help with rear rotors Empty Need some help with rear rotors

Post  mjp427 Wed Dec 23, 2009 3:30 am

I went to go order rotors for my car but need some help. What is the difference between 86 and 87 turbo rear rotors. I have a 86 NA and am installing turbo calipers. I thought 86 turbo and 87 turbo rotors were the same. I am not sure if my turbo calipers are 86 or 87 or if it even makes a differernce. Any help is greatly appriciated!..
Thanks,
Matt

I am pretty sure they are the same.

You just need to adjust the spacing to fit on the NA hubs in the rear. I can't remember where I bought it but it is a cheap kit.

You will need the 86 turbo rotors for your 86 arms. With the later offset came a deeper rotor hat. I put the turbo brakes on my 86 rear suspension and went through the same uncertainty but I now know the answer.
