What paint to use on the calipers?

Post  mjp427 on Sun Dec 20, 2009 11:44 pm

I am upgrading my brakes before I do the conversion on my 86 NA. What paint should be used on the calipers? I am looking to repaint them red. I know this is the wrong place but I also need some Guards REd paint to touch up my engine compartment. Can it be had in a spray can?

Thanks at ton!

Dupli-ColorĀ® Engine Paint with Ceramic
(026916916327) DE 1632
Chrysler Industrial Red

Works great for underhood detailing, a close match for Guards Red.

Several of the online Porsche retailers sell caliper paint...

Thank you for the very quick response!!! I just recieved your manual a few days ago and I am up to my neck already working on the car. My engine will be out tomorrrow so I will begin prepping for install. The manual and this forum are helping a ton as I have a lot of questions!

Have a great holiday!!!
