Early / late suspension

Post  Guitmn on Fri Oct 12, 2018 9:01 pm

I'm new here trying to learn the forum and I need a little help: I have an early body (11/84)with no suspension due to a vw project, and have found a donor car that is later model (87). Will the later suspension bolt to the early car?[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

87+ suspension will all bolt right in, just keep in mind that 87+ cars have the wider track width so you will have to keep that in mind when it comes time to get wheels.

Thanks Starkey, this parts car has decent wheels that I will use, they have a Porsche center cap but I'm not sure if they are factory wheels . Anyone seen these before?[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
