For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

clutch flywheel recomendation
Hi everyone, I bought clean 86 turbo with a blown motor and am swapping the sbc from my 85.5 with an rh kit. I would get a whiff of the clutch on hard launches, putting it on the trailer and I think it was slipping at higher rpm. I'm running about 420hp/tq and predicting a 125 shot of nitrous in my immediate future So I'm thinking an aluminum flywheel but not sure of clutch size that fits in the rh bellhousing. Can I go 11" for more holding power? I looked at the twin disc from Mcleod real nice, pricey and don't know if it will fit. Please post your setups as I just can"t function properly without something fast to drive! thanks, Joe[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
