After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Anyone have or make a radiator

Post  zeusrotty on Sat Aug 20, 2016 10:04 pm

Support beam? I finally bit the bullet and bought a dual pass two row 24x19 radiator and some high flow fans with a shroud. so I cut out the cross beam and of course want to get some support in there. Please let me know. I was having trouble cooling the bored and stroked 426 so I'm just going all out. I'm gonna cool the crap out of it. Lol

Isn't that 3" too tall? It won't drag the ground will it?

Are you talking about the frame section connecting the frame rails at the bumper shock location?

Yes I cut out that center section so I could fit another 3 inches of radiator. Someone used to make a cross bar to replace the cross support. That's what I need.

This is 944-LT1's car

I think Eric use to make those. TPC doesn't list one though. It's basically some offset angle iron sandwiched under the bumper shocks and a tube welded between them.
If you have the means, I'd weld a tube between the frame rails.

What Tom said. I welded my own up and added attachments to hang the oil cooler from the bar.
