The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

sooty tailpipes

Post  quarterflash on Sun May 15, 2016 3:46 am

Hi
Well I am on the road at last but it feels like it is running rich - sooty tail pipes etc.
The engine starts and runs but it has not been tuned or set up in any way. Obviously there are less engine tuning garages here in the UK that have Corvette engine knowledge.
Is it even possible to adjust the fule air mixture? What would you suggest? Any websites that I can visit?
Thanx

Make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks. When the tube pops off my heater control valve I get black soot all over the rear of the car.
