For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

speed signal out
coming out of the pcm that was set up by TPC there is a wire marked speed signal out, I can not figure out where it should go. car is an 86 turbo pcm and harness are believed to be from a 98 Camaro. Is it needed ? I don't see any need for it but am confused as to why it would have been separated and labeled if there was no need, so what do I do with it ?
Once more thanks for any help !

Re: speed signal out
Out? My PCM has a speed signal in that's connected to TPC's VSS kit. Tuning can make this signal unnecessary, but my tune uses it to help with idle conditions.

Re: speed signal out
And a question from me. I've installed Boxster ABS that has a speed signal out. Can I connect this to the PCM's speed signal in? Or is it likely the Bosch speed signal out differs from what the Chevy PCM gets from the VSS sensor?
