HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Hate to ask what are these used for? putting on 17" or 18 " porsche rims on or are these for converting to say corvette rims?

These are used for early offset to late offset spacing.
I was going to run these on my 1986 951 in the rear with twist rims (17x8.5 with 50mm offset) but I dont like the look. I thought they were out just a little too far. I am going to back it off just a little to a 35mm spacer.

Ok I am abit confused on this then , what is called for say for a 87 porsche and you wanted to put on 17" turbo twist on it 35mm? or the 43mm?

If you have an 87 you will not need any spacers at all. You should only need the spacers if you have an 86 or earlier because of the 23.3mm offset. 87 onward had a 52mm (I believe) offset.
